Demonstration notice. Woodside Floral & Decoration, LLC is a fictional business and this website is a showcase of what can be designed, provisioned and hosted through MaiaHost. No order placed here reaches a real flower shop, no payment is ever taken, and every telephone number on this site is a placeholder. The terms below are written as a real florist's terms would be, because that is the point of the demonstration.

Orders

An order is confirmed when we have accepted it and taken payment. Orders for same-day delivery must be placed by 1:00 pm Monday to Friday, or 11:00 am on Saturday. We may decline an order we cannot deliver to our own standard, and we will say so rather than send something we are not proud of.

Substitution

Flowers are a seasonal, perishable product bought at market. Where a specific stem is unavailable or below our standard on the day, we substitute within the same colour palette, form and value, and we tell you. Overall style and value are always maintained. Container styles may vary.

Freshness guarantee

We guarantee five days of vase life on fresh arrangements kept in clean water away from direct sun and ripening fruit. If flowers fail within five days, tell us within 48 hours of noticing and send a photograph, and we will remake or refund the arrangement at our discretion.

Delivery

We deliver to the address given at the time of order. If nobody is available we attempt the doorman, the building superintendent and a neighbour, then contact the sender. We will not leave flowers where they will be damaged or stolen. A re-delivery caused by an incorrect address supplied to us is charged again.

Delivery times are estimates. Where a timed window has been agreed for a funeral, wedding or event, we treat it as a commitment and will contact you immediately if anything threatens it.

Cancellation and changes

Everyday orders may be cancelled or amended free of charge up to 24 hours before delivery. Inside 24 hours, an order already designed cannot be refunded, because the flowers have been cut and conditioned for it.

Weddings and events are governed by the signed proposal. In outline: the retainer is non-refundable, cancellation more than 90 days before the date releases the balance, and inside 30 days the full contracted amount is due, since we have bought your flowers and turned away other work for your date.

Prices

Prices on this site are in US dollars and exclude sales tax and delivery, both shown before payment. Rose and seasonal flower pricing moves with the market, particularly around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day; the price shown when you order is the price you pay.

Photographs

Images on this site show our own work and are indicative. Every arrangement is made by hand and no two are identical. We may photograph work we have made for our portfolio; tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Flowers and plants are natural products: some are toxic to pets and some may cause allergic reactions. Tell us about allergies or pets in the household and we will design around them. Lilies in particular are dangerous to cats, and we will substitute automatically if you mention one.
