Holiday & Seasonal Decoration
Wreaths, garlands, trees and window displays for homes, storefronts and building lobbies across Queens — put up by us and taken down by us.
The decoration half of our name is not decorative. Every year from mid-November we dress storefronts along Roosevelt and Queens Boulevard, residential lobbies, restaurant windows and a good number of houses whose owners have decided that a ladder in December is no longer for them.
It is a full service: design, materials, installation, a mid-season visit to replace anything that has suffered, and removal in January. You never store anything and you never touch a ladder.
Fresh and permanent
Fresh fir, cedar and eucalyptus where it will be seen and smelled up close; high-quality permanent botanicals where the sun and wind would destroy fresh within a week.
Storefronts and lobbies
Window displays, door surrounds, garlands and trees for shops, restaurants and residential buildings. Commercially scaled and commercially insured.
All seasons
Christmas and Hanukkah, Lunar New Year, Easter, autumn and Halloween. Several of our accounts run all five.
Storage and reuse
We store your permanent pieces between seasons at no charge and refresh them each year, so the cost falls sharply after year one.

Questions
Holiday Decoration — the things people ask
When should I book holiday decorating?
By early November for December installation. We start installing storefronts around the fifteenth of November and residential from the first week of December, and the good slots go early.
Do you take the decorations down?
Yes — removal in the first two weeks of January is included in every package. It is the part everyone forgets to ask about and the part everyone is most relieved by.
Fresh or artificial?
Both, deliberately. Fresh greenery indoors near the door where people touch and smell it; high-quality permanent botanicals for exterior and high-sun positions where fresh would brown in a week. We will tell you which is which.
Do you decorate for holidays other than Christmas?
Yes — Lunar New Year, Hanukkah, Easter, autumn and Halloween. Woodside marks a great many things and we are happy to be part of most of them.
