Privacy Policy

This is a demonstration website for a fictional flower shop. It is published to show what can be built and hosted on MaiaHost. Even so, the contact form is real and this page describes honestly what happens to anything you send through it.

What this site collects

The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or social pixels, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers. Opening a page here tells us nothing about you beyond the ordinary web-server request log.

The only information we receive is what you deliberately type into the contact form: your name, email address, telephone number, the subject you selected, a date and budget if you supplied them, the delivery neighborhood and your message.

Where it goes

The form is the managed contact form provided by MaiaHost. Your message is submitted to the hosting platform, which checks it for spam and delivers it by email to the mailbox for this site. This page contains no secret key, no destination address and no third-party form service.

Because this is a demonstration, nobody is running a flower shop at the other end. Messages arrive at a mailbox belonging to the developer of this demonstration and are reviewed only to check that the form works.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, the browser's user-agent string — as every web server does. They are used for security and troubleshooting and are rotated on the host's normal schedule.

How long it is kept

Contact form messages are kept only as long as they are useful for demonstrating that the form works, and are deleted routinely. Nothing sent through this site is sold, rented, shared with advertisers or used to build a profile of you.

Asking for deletion

Write to florist@bestdealwebdesign.com and anything you have sent will be deleted. There is no account to close and no mailing list to leave, because neither exists.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
